This year, the joint seminar will look into the use of injury data for effective and innovative safety promotion”. The seminar will be held in the Austria Center, the main congress centre in Vienna, Wednesday 9 November 2016, and is being organised in collaboration with the European Public Health Association (EUPHA) and the BRIDGE-Health project.

The programme offers ample opportunities for short paper and poster presentations. The organisers are in particular interested to receive abstracts that demonstrate:

The Conference will bring together hundreds of researchers, practitioners and advocates from around the world and will cover a range of topics within injury prevention and safety promotion. 

The European Union Falls Festival brings together leading academics, health care practitioners, industry representatives and other key stakeholders to celebrate best practice research and innovation in the multidisciplinary study and implementation of falls prevention in older people. 
The theme for the 2016 event will be: Implementation of innovation into policy and practice.
