Fire safety week presentations now online

Recordings and PDF presentations from the 2025 European Fire Safety Week conference (EUFSW25) which took place last November are now available online. The Week’s overarching theme was ‘Let's make every European home fire save’ and the conference brought together practitioners, researchers, and stakeholders to exchange knowledge and share practical solutions for improving fire safety in Europe. The wide-ranging programme included presentations on fire safety in a changing world, the role of flame-retardants in making homes safe, and household fires and the life-saving role of smoke detectors. Every year, around 5,000 people die from fires In the European Union and many, many more are injured. More than 90% of fires occur in domestic homes.
