Workshops  print friendly

The Alliance hosts workshops to help facilitate the creation and sustainability of a European Child Injury Prevention Network to share resources, good practice and to determine bench-marking criteria and comparison information. The workshops offer the opportunity to develop partnerships and strengthen links between academic researchers and practitoners.


2008 workshops

The Icelandic Safety House hosted this seminar in Reykjavík, Iceland on June 5, 2008, with the following presentations:

Child Injury Prevention Seminar
The Edinburgh City Council hosted this seminar with attendance of the Scottish Home Safety Committee and the members of the European Child Safety Alliance in Edinburgh on December 5, 2007, with the following presentations:

Alliance Bi-annual workshops

So far one bi-annual Alliance workshop has been held in 2007 in Graz on June 12: Home Safety Campaign Seminar relating to children and violence, with following presentations:

2006 workshops

The European Child Safety Alliance hosted 2 workshops at the 1st European Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion 25 - 27 June, Vienna, Austria.
Each workshop was 1.5 hours long and was one of several concurrent break-out sessions at the conference.
