Work Package (WP) 1 is linked to the overall day to day coordination of the proposal, administration and financial matters of the project, therefore is related to all aimed objectives.
Specifically, it aims to ensure smooth flow of the time schedule, inter-exchange of experiences and smooth handover among the various WPs and their individual components as well as to summarize evidence on all types of injuries for all age groups taking into account the work of previously funded EU grants and expanding on domains that have not been dealt in the past.
The project leader will be assisted by the Management team of all WP Leaders. In particular WP1 will ensure that information from the burden of injuries report (WP2) will guide the work for the identification of top 10 best practices and efficient policies among all age groups (WP3) and that recommendations from WP3 will be further exemplified and introduced in the development of intervention strategies to reduce injuries among high risk groups (WP4, WP5), timely fed to the dissemination activities of the proposal and to the organisers of the EU Safety Platforms (WP6) for prompt use by interested parties.
