To link with European networks such as Eunese and Profane to ensure harmonisation of activities and safety promotion among the elderly.
- To serve as a permanent panel for advisory national agencies and networks on best practices and cost-efficient methodologies for injury prevention through measures that address the environment (engineering),informing intermediaries and elderly (education) and ensuring proper implementation of measures (enforcement).
- To initiate actions for improving the design of products for elderly and their home environment by organising, for example, designer award schemes.
