Members
The Annual meeting of members is the main deciding body in the EuroSafe association. It elects the members of the Executive Board, decides on the organisation that hosts Eurosafe's secretariat and decides on the Annual financial report and annual work plans.
Membership is open to any organisation or individual working in the field of injury prevention and safety promotion. Please find here the Constitution of EuroSafe.
Secretariat
The Secretariat carries out all ‘back office’ functions and ensures:
- strategy development involving the major experts and stakeholders concerned;
- maintaining the business cycle of annual updates and progress reports of EuroSafe Programmes;
- monitoring and reviewing of ongoing activities of EuroSafe Programmes;
- disseminating good practices identified through the various projects and Programmes;
- communicating policy developments, funding opportunities, professional resources, methodologies, coordination and advocacy actions, etc. through various mediums including a website, newsletter, Journal, conferences, seminars, guidelines etc.
Centres of Excellence
EuroSafe promotes concerted action and research to explore priority issues and/or relevant methodological aspects of injury prevention work. Programmes and Task Forces report annually to the Board and to the general meeting of members of EuroSafe.
The Centres of Excellence (CofE) are the lead organisations headed by the programme- and task force- directors who are responsible for developing and carrying out business plans for the respective topical networks.
