A European child road safety press release and fact sheet were released on 24 April, 2007 in Brussels by HEAL (Health and Environment Alliance) and the European Child Safety Alliance, a Programme of EuroSafe. This coincides with the first UN Global Road Safety Week, 23-29 April 2007.
The press release focuses on the uptake of good practice in the specific example of child passenger restraints and the opportunity for lower costs to make this good practice more affordable for families. The fact sheet focuses on child road safety in general.
