Recommendations on the Quality of Water and Air in Indoor Public Swimming Pools

This recommendation was published in the 13th annual Report to the President of the Republic and the Parliament and concerns the quality of water and air in indoor public swimming pools. It addresses the risks of chlorinated air and advises the following:
- simple and immediate health measures (daily cleaning of the cloakrooms, 'pediluves' and the pool
- evaluation of technical equipment, especially with regard to the quality of water (filtering systems, changing the water) and air (a new regulation concerning renewal of air rate)
- medical examinations, especially for swimming teachers, school children and others who spend several hours a day in indoor swimming pools.
