Summary Report for the Year 2002 & Fact sheet (CEREPRI: University of Athens School of Medicine, Department of Hygiene and Epidemiology)

CEREPRI continues to work on strengthening and supporting coordination of injury prevention activities in Greece. The vision of everyone working with us is the adoption of safe behavior prototypes and the enforcement of passive safety measurements on personal and community base. Prevention of injuries is highly cost beneficial and of significant social and moral value. In order to make this vision true, CEREPRI is affiliated with an expanding network of injury prevention experts that reaches not only throughout Greece but also worldwide.

During 2002, the scientific activities of CEREPRI have been geared to the initiation of efforts aiming to introduce basic and advanced pediatric life support training as a prerequisite in the undergraduate and postgraduate medical studies and the implementation of research projects and preparation of scientific papers and reports.
