| In order to ensure excellence and collaboration in the priority areas identified by EuroSafe, Centres of Excellence will be established for each Programme area. This will provide motivated partners the opportunity to lead a major programme of activities in Europe and directly participate in EuroSafe’s strategic development.
CoE selection process
The selection of new CofE and the renewal of the current centres will be done through a transparent process, based on:
- An open invitation addressed to all members of EuroSafe and other potential partners (under the condition that they become a full member);
- Evidence produced by interested centres demonstrating the centre’s competencies, dedicated European networks, resources and proposed business plan for the area of interest.
- The CofE selection process will involve independent experts and follow an open review process. By taking leadership of a EuroSafe programme the respective CoE will operate in the framework of a 3-year collaborative agreement that includes a business and financial plan. This should be a part of their own organisation’s financial planning.
- Organisations interested in becoming centres of excellence should express their interest to the EuroSafe Secretariat (secretariat@eurosafe.eu.com)
