"Split the risk" Austria school training

The Split the Risk course which had been developed by the Consumer Safety Institute (the Netherlands), was adapted and translated for pilot activities in Austria. For getting first experiences and feedback on the course, four different types of pilot project days were conducted in several federal states of Austria. The pilot activities were accompanied by an evaluation.

The Split the Risk test lab card
This card gives one example of an exercise within the test lab. Young people conduct easy experiments and learn about perception, estimation, work of senses and the brain - all aspects that are very relevant to estimation of own risk.
